There is nothing to install on your iPhone or iPod touch. Everything is accessible through the Safari browser.
But ...
You start by downloading, installing and registering the Files2Phones Access Server on your computer. That's so the iPhone or iPod touch has something to connect to.
Files2Phones includes a fully-functional free trial for new users. Please try it before you buy a license.
The Files2Phones Access Server runs on a PC or in a Windows partition on an Intel Mac.

Click the Downloads button to start installing the Files2Phones Access Server software on your computer.

At the end of the install, you register Files2Phones, and create a web address for your computer that you can connect to from your iPhone or iPod touch ... such as myName.myf2p.com, where you replace myName with your choice of prefix (with as few as 4 characters).
We send an email with your myName.myf2p.com and an activation key. Please save this information for your records. We also send a text message to your iPhone with an active link that you can bookmark immediately.

If you forgot what it was like to drive into a gas station and have the
attendant ask you if you would like to have the oil-level checked and the
windshield washed, try our support for a guided tour of the installation
and operation of F2P. Just call (508)563-2025, (508)877-0446, or (660)668-3032 (9AM-9PM EST 7 Days a week).

On your computer, drag files, folders and other viewables into the Public, Private and Guest Folders of the Files2Phones Access Server (see the F2P Guide and Learn More for details).
The Private and Guest folders are password-protected. The Public folder is not -- so be careful what viewables you allow there!

Leave the Files2Phones Access Server running on your computer. (Note: Make sure that your computer is not set to go to sleep.)

AFTER you install and start the F2P Server on your PC, open Safari on your iPhone or iPod touch and go to myName.myf2p.com, which is an address set up specifically for you when you install Files2Phones Access Server on your computer (just replace myName with your special web prefix).

In Safari, you see the Files2Phones main page. You can click buttons that open the Public, Private and Guest folders so you can see the files and other viewables made available through the Files2Phones Access Server on your computer. See F2P iPhone Help for details. |

Then, enjoy ... Leave the Files2Phones Acess Server running on your computer, take your iPhone or iPod touch with you, and connect back when you want to see more.
Requirements
Files2Phones Access Server is available for Windows XP, 2000, and Vista 32-bit, or Intel Mac with Parallels Desktop 3.0, VMWare Fusion or Bootcamp.
Remote access requires an iPhone or iPod touch, minimum firmware level 1.1.4. Firmware 2.0 strongly recommended.
