Q: Where does the audio come from?
A: Audio is sent to your PC2Me Plus native app from your F2P or PC2Me Server. Audio problems are usually caused (and resolved) on the Server, not on your iPhone or iPod touch.

Q: I still have no sound (XP)
A: A: In XP, it is a different game. We connect to the Stereo Mix or WaveOut of the Recording Mixer (Yes, Recording Mixer). Is it possible that you have some other device (digital output, headphones, etc.) as your default RECORDING device? To find out:
- Right-click the speaker icon in the system tray, select Open Volumne Control, then select Options, then Properties.
- In the Properties window, check Recording. This shows which mixer device has been selected as your default mixer for Sound Recording.
- Make sure that the list of volume controls for the recording mixer device includes "Stereo Mix", "Wave Mix", "What U Hear", or similar (see list below), and make sure it is checked.
We search for Device Name "stereo" Stereo Mix "wave" Wave Mix "hear" What U hear "mix" xxx Mix "sum" (Sigmatel) "mezcla" (Spanish for Mixer) "rec. playback" (IDT Audio Chip Set) - Now, restart your PC2Me or F2P Server and try your PC2Me+ Native App again.

Q: Warning: The current default audio device cannot capture audio ... (XP)
I am getting the following message:
"Warning: The current default audio device cannot capture audio for the pc2me+ iphone native app, but the sigmatel c major audio is available on a different audio device. Set this device as the default and try again."
The sigmatel device is the only one on my system and is already set as the default.
A: He solved the problem by checking the "use only default devices" box in the audio properties box.
Explanation: His situation occurs when a user unplugs an audio device without changing the default device. The system reverts to the next available recording device, but the "default" selection in the registry still contains the original device name. This is why the user info displayed "GT-10" as the default recording device. This info came directly from the registry.
To correct this problem he needed to set this device as the default and try again. By checking the "use only default devices" box in the audio properties box the system stored the correct default device in the registry and all is well.

They are diagnostic tools we use.
Ask Support A Question is a form you send to 1stWorks Support (support@1stWorks.com) with a question or a brief problem description. - Select "Ask Support A Question".
- Provide a brief description and press Send.

- Click OK.
- Wait while DxDiag loads.
- Click the Save All Information button.
