The Files2Phones and PC2Me Servers operate with an initial free trial. When the trial expires, or your current Server license expires, you have these options for continued use. See:

When your PC2Me Server trial or license expires, you have several options for continued use:

If you bought and are using the PC2Me Plus native app, you can continue to use the PC2Me Server for free if you open ports in your router and firewall so that the iPhone/iPod touch can make a direct connection to your PC2Me Server instead of connecting through our 1stWorks proxy servers.

- If you bought and are using the PC2Me Plus native app, and you do not want to open ports, you can buy a PC2Me Server license instead, which will give you continued connections through our proxy servers. http://www.pc2me.net/buy.asp
